The Operational Risk and Business Continuity Manger is responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the Operational Risk Management applications/tools for monitoring operational risk and the related Business Continuity / Incident Management program/policies.
This role will work closely with Senior Management of Company's Risk, Compliance, Operations and Internal Audit globally.
Responsibilities
- Identification and documentation of Firm BC and IM program requirements
- Identification of critical processes, services, staffing, and capacities
- Development of an end-to-end analysis of the Firm's existing BC/IM capabilities
- Annual update of customer facing communications and Firm BC policies
- Development of cost effective BC Plan enhancements
- Oversight of Firm BC plan testing
- Development of Operational Risk monitoring tools including reports, Scorecards, KRIs and operational risk capital modeling
Experience / Qualifications:
- 15+ years senior management experience in operations/risk management.
- Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree a plus
- Strong understanding of operational risk
- Good understanding of US Financial Market Regulations
- Demonstrated results-oriented project management expertise in operational risk
- Experience working with IT departments and knowledge of telephone, workstation, and data center technology
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong management and people skills
